Please accept our invitation to participate in this great communication network. With the Connect-CTY service, we can contact you by your home phone. Additionally, YOU can customized the service to also be contacted via cell phone, email or PDA. This may be especially important if you are away from your home during an emergency event such as in an evacuation.
We know your personal information is important, and we will not share it with anyone. The information you supply will strictly be used by the City of El Lago for emergency and civic contact purposes. For more information, read this Connect-CTY FAQ.

The Emergency Notification System (ENS) is offered by Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network (GHC 9-1-1) to people living within the GHC 9-1-1 territory. Until now, the service was only able to contact home or work (landline) phones. However, now cell and Internet phones can be contacted, and GHC 9-1-1 does not charge a fee!
ENS is only used for public safety emergencies such as chemical spills or hazardous materials, missing persons, local area evacuation, dangerous persons and extreme life-threatening weather events.
For more details as to why the City of El Lago uses the two notification systems, go here.
